Enhancing Article Writing Skills in Students
Often in schools, a lot of students are there who may excel in writing articles. But in the light of other career areas, we may underestimate Article Writing as a good career. But, if guided well, the area is vast and keep its own identity as career in the society. Moreover, in country like India, one can find a numerous opportunity to write outstanding articles as one can find a number of topics to write for. Too many Indian writers have proved themselves as amongst the best writers of the world and have earned name and fame in that area. Chetan Bhagat, Amrita Pritam, Jhumpa Lahiri, Khushwant Singh, R. K. Narayan, Rabindranath Tagore, Ruskin Bond, Vikram Seth, Arundhati Roy, Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay are few of them who have achieved great success in this career.
Keeping in view all the career options and in order to enhance the writing skills, schools now a days are taking initiatives and asking students articles over given topics. Such activities help schools to recognize those students who keep the talent of writing with them. Such an activity has been conducted by Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Jammu where articles from various grades were submitted by the students and to our surprise, students from all the grades participated enthusiastically.
